Memory (Knowledge Graph MCP)

Reference MCP server (memory)

What it is

A maintained reference server implementing persistent memory as a local knowledge graph of entities, relations and observations. Data lives in a plain JSONL file whose location you set with MEMORY_FILE_PATH. Eight tools include create_entities, add_observations, search_nodes and read_graph.

Why it earns a slot

Lets the agent remember your stack, naming conventions and past decisions across sessions instead of you re-explaining the project every morning. Everything stays in a local file you can open and edit yourself.

Know before you commit

The agent will not use memory unless your instructions tell it to write and read. The graph grows unbounded and read_graph dumps the entire thing into context.
