Dashboard overview

   Go to the Lovable dashboard, which is your home screen after logging in.

   This is where you'll start all your work and manage everything.

   To start a new project, type what you want to build into the prompt input box in the center of the dashboard and click 'send'.

   This is the quickest way to tell Lovable what kind of app you want it to create for you.

   For more options when starting a project, click the '+' button next to the prompt input.

   This lets you add files, choose design templates, or connect to services like a backend database before you even start building.

   Use the sidebar on the left to navigate between your projects, access resources, manage connectors, and switch between different workspaces.

   The sidebar provides quick access to all your Lovable content and settings.

   Click your avatar at the bottom-left of the sidebar to open your user menu for personal settings, appearance options, and support.

   This is where you can customize your experience, manage your account, and find help.

   Click the inbox icon next to your avatar to see notifications, invitations, and product updates.

   This keeps you informed about important actions, requests, and new features in Lovable.

   To manage multiple projects at once, click and drag across an empty area of the project list (or press Ctrl+A/Cmd+A) to select them, then use the toolbar that appears.

   This allows you to perform actions like moving, transferring, or deleting several projects efficiently.

Dashboard

Plan mode

A setting where you can discuss and plan your project with Lovable without it making any actual code changes.

• Forgetting to use the '+' menu can make you miss out on options to attach files, use templates, or connect services when starting a new project.
• Not checking the inbox can lead to missed invitations or important notifications about your projects and workspace.
• Overlooking the keyboard shortcuts (like Cmd+K/Ctrl+K for search) can make navigating and finding things slower than it needs to be.
