Share a project with internal or external collaborators
You can share your Lovable project with others in different ways, like inviting specific people, sharing a temporary link for collaboration, or creating a view-only link for feedback. This helps you work with teammates or get input from clients without them needing to edit your project.
Anyone who wants to let others see or work on their Lovable project.
Do this, in order
- 1
Open your project and click the 'Share' button in the top bar.
This is the main place to manage all sharing options for your project.
- 2
To invite specific people, enter their email addresses or workspace groups in the 'Add people' field, choose their access level (Admin, Editor, or Viewer), and click 'Invite'.
This grants them direct access to the project in the Lovable editor, and they'll get an email to join.
- 3
To create a shareable link for collaborators, set the 'Invite link' access level to 'Edit access' or 'View access', then click 'Copy invite link' and share it.
This is useful for quickly onboarding teammates or sharing in a chat, as anyone with the link becomes a collaborator for 5 days.
- 4
To share a view-only version of your app for feedback, click 'Share preview', decide if you want to allow 'Guest comments', and then click 'Copy preview link'.
This creates a temporary, public link to your live app that anyone can see without an account, and they can even leave comments directly on the preview.
- 5
To manage existing access, use the 'Project access' section in the 'Share' dialog to change roles, remove individuals, or adjust workspace-wide access.
This allows you to control who currently has access to your project and what they can do.
Paste this into your project
I want to share my Lovable project. How can I invite specific people to collaborate, create a temporary shareable link for my team, or generate a view-only link for clients to review and comment on my app?
Words decoded
- Workspace

- Collaborator
- Someone who has access to your project in the Lovable editor, either to view or make changes.
- Editor
- A type of collaborator who can build, edit, and manage most project settings.
- Viewer
- A type of collaborator who can only see the project in the Lovable editor but cannot make changes.
- Admin
- A type of collaborator with full access to the project, including all settings and connections.
- SSO enforcement
- A security setting (Single Sign-On) that requires users to log in through a specific company system, often used in larger organizations.
- Verified workspace domain
- A company's internet address (like 'yourcompany.com') that has been confirmed by Lovable as belonging to your workspace, used for security and user management.
- Just-in-time provisioning role
- A system that automatically creates user accounts and assigns them a specific role when they first try to access a service, based on their company's settings.
Where people get stuck
- Invite links expire after 5 days, so you'll need to create a new one if it stops working.
- Changing an invite link's access level creates a new link and invalidates the old one, so you must share the new link.
- Shared preview links are temporary and expire after 7 days.
- If 'Guest comments' are enabled on a preview link, anyone can leave comments, which might not be desired for a 'clean' preview.
- On Business and Enterprise plans, workspace admins can block external collaborators or public preview links, which might prevent you from sharing as intended.
