Organizations: run several workspaces as one company
Organizations let enterprise companies manage multiple workspaces from one central dashboard with shared login rules. Each workspace keeps its own projects, credits, and billing separate.
Enterprise company administrators who need central oversight and shared login rules across multiple team workspaces.
Do this, in order
- 1
Contact your Lovable Enterprise account team to create your organization and link your workspaces.
Organizations and their workspace memberships cannot be created directly from the self-service dashboard.
- 2
Open the workspace switcher in the top-left corner of your dashboard and select Organization settings.
This opens the central organization dashboard where you manage workspaces, people, identity, and security.
- 3
Navigate to the Workspaces page under Organization to review credit usage, member counts, and workspace settings.
This gives org admins visibility into every team's activity and lets you manage workspace-level sharing rules.
- 4
Navigate to Audit logs under Security to inspect company-wide actions and events across all linked workspaces.
It provides a unified, exportable trail of membership changes, domain updates, and workspace activity.
Words decoded
- SSO
- A single sign-on system that allows employees to log into Lovable using their company credentials, such as Google, Okta, or Microsoft.
- SCIM
- An automated system that adds new hires to Lovable workspaces and removes people when they leave the company.
- Org admin
- A manager who controls company-wide login settings and workspaces across the entire organization.
Where people get stuck
- Org admins cannot view or edit projects inside a workspace unless they are explicitly added as workspace members.
- Organizations do not pool or share credits; each workspace maintains its own separate plan and credit balance.
- You cannot create workspaces or add them to an organization yourself; you must request this through your Lovable account team.
- Teams in different workspaces cannot edit the same project together without being invited directly into the workspace that owns the project.
- Removing a workspace from an organization does not delete it; deleting an Enterprise workspace requires contacting your account team.
