Publish apps with branded URLs

about 10 minBuildingchecked 35h agoOfficial page
The short version

You can make all your apps use a consistent web address pattern that includes your company's name. This helps your apps look more professional and makes them easier to recognize.

Workspace owners or admins who want all their apps to share a common, branded web address.

Do this, in order

  1. 1

Go to your Workspace settings, then find 'Branded app URLs'.

This is where you control the settings for your apps' web addresses.

  2. 2

Choose one of your verified domains from the list and turn on the feature.

This tells Lovable what name to use for your apps' web addresses, like 'acme' from 'acme.com'.

  3. 3

Wait for Lovable to finish setting up the new web addresses, which will show as 'Active'.

Lovable needs time to prepare the necessary internet settings for your new branded web addresses.

  4. 4

Publish your project as you normally would.

Once active, any new or republished apps will automatically use your new branded web address pattern.

Paste this into your project

Hey Lovable, I want to set up branded URLs for all my apps. I've already verified my domain 'example.com'. Can you help me configure my workspace so all new apps publish under 'app-name.example.lovable.app'?

Words decoded

workspace subdomain

provisioning
The process where Lovable automatically sets up the necessary internet records and security certificates for your new web addresses.
DNS
The system that translates human-readable web addresses (like 'google.com') into computer-readable internet addresses.
SSL certificate
A digital certificate that secures the connection between your app and its users, ensuring privacy and trust.
custom domain
Your own unique web address, like 'mycompany.com', that you can use instead of Lovable's default address.

Where people get stuck

  • You must be on a Business or Enterprise plan to use this feature.
  • You need to have at least one domain verified in your workspace's Identity settings before you can enable branded app URLs.
  • You can only set up one branded subdomain for your entire workspace.
  • If you want to disable branded app URLs, you must first unpublish all apps currently using them.
  • If setup fails, try disabling and re-enabling the feature, then wait for provisioning again.
